Voorhees College Partners with Collegiate Consulting for DII Feasibility Study

ATLANTA (Dec. 16, 2021) – Voorhees College has retained Collegiate Consulting to explore competitive and membership possibilities within NCAA Division II. Collegiate Consulting’s Feasibility Study will provide conference analyses, budget review, staffing and salary assessment, facility benchmarking, Title IX analysis and curated recommendations for Voorhees.

Voorhees’ 10 varsity sports teams will be compared to and contrasted with member-institutions from the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) throughout the course of this study. In addition to the research aggregated in the final report, Collegiate Consulting will provide an overview of the DII application process, including current landscape metrics, membership requirements and compliance protocols.

Collegiate Consulting has assisted six institutions in 2021 as they consider a reclassification from NAIA or NCAA Division III to NCAA Division II. Most recently, Collegiate Consulting partner Thomas More University was offered a provisional membership into the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC) beginning in the 2022-23 athletic year.
