MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. (Dec. 24, 2020) – Milligan University engaged Collegiate Consulting to develop a new intercollegiate athletic strategic plan. The plan, which was recently approved by Milligan’s Board of Trustees, will soon see implementation and integration into the institution’s overall strategic plan.
As part of the six-month project, Collegiate Consulting interviewed more than 75 individuals including University and athletic leadership, head coaches, student-athletes, donors, alumni, trustee members, faculty and student body leadership.
The key tenets of the plan include seven core strategic objectives: fiscal responsibility, athletic facilities, internal and external engagement, personnel, competitive excellence, academic success and student-athlete welfare. This is the first athletic Strategic Plan developed by Milligan and is the third project in which Collegiate Consulting has assisted the institution.
