ST. GEORGE, Utah (November 25, 2019) – Atlanta based Collegiate Consulting has been engaged by Dixie State to help in the development of their new athletic strategic plan as part of their transition to Division I and Western Athletic Conference membership.
Dixie State announced it’s move to Division I and the WAC in Jan. 2019, after a three-month feasibility study conducted by Collegiate Consulting. Dixie State will apply for Division I membership in June 2020 and begin its first season of the four-year transition during the 2020-21 athletic season with a full WAC conference schedule.
As a full-service intercollegiate consulting firm, Collegiate Consulting will assist with the NCAA-mandated Division I-focused strategic plan. As part of the project Collegiate Consulting will identify key goals, review internal documents and interview key stakeholders in both the athletic and academic divisions to help Dixie State establish a comprehensive and detailed plan to solidify their athletic program.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Dixie State again – after helping them transition to Division I and into the WAC in 2020,” said managing Director Russell Wright. “Our all-encompassing process will help guide the Trailblazers to continued success while ensuring their strategy is aligned with the overall values of the institution.”
