New School Year, Continued Conference Movement

While the ever-in-motion wheels of NCAA football continue to churn, Collegiate Consulting has been engaged to conduct more FBS feasibility studies as of late. Now, more than ever, the opportunity to re-examine program success has been presented. With so many moving pieces, in-depth research allows for considerate (re)calibration: Across-the-board metrics can spotlight several divisional and lateral changes that prove beneficial to both institutions and college-athletes. Our team is constantly engaged in this ever-changing landscape, and we take pride in the many successes that our current and former clients experience.

Feasibility Studies Updates

By unanimous approval, Thomas More University has been offered provisional membership into the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, as part of a transition to Division II. To support its GMAC membership application, as well as assist with the DII Feasibility Study, Strategic Plan and DII Application, Thomas More retained Collegiate Consulting in June 2021.

Collegiate Consulting is currently assisting five institutions as they consider a reclassification to NCAA Division II. If accepted, Thomas More University would become a provisional member of NCAA DII and GMAC for the 2022-23 academic year; and become a full member, beginning in the 2025-26 academic year.

What's The Word?

While traditional football is the focus of Fall, we at Collegiate Consulting want to highlight all sports, some commencing after spring championships due to COVID-19: Cross country, volleyball, soccer and water polo. The CC team wishes both coaches and student-athletes a healthy and prolific season.

We also tip our caps to those interim ADs who rose to the occasion to for their institutions to lead departments at the start of a new academic year. It can be a tireless job with a jarring transition, and something that deserves recognition.”

Collegiate Consulting Twitter Growth

As we continue to engage more and more collegiate athletic departments, Collegiate Consulting is excited to acknowledge the achievements accomplished by the student-athletes of our past and present clients. One of our tenets of operation is seeking student and institutional elevation.

The resilience and dedication that college athletes have demonstrated in the past year is something deserving of recognition and applause.

Please follow us to watch how we highlight these athletic advancements.
