St. John Fisher Charts Path Forward with Support of Study by Collegiate Consulting
Collegiate Consulting has completed a strategic athletics assessment for St. John Fisher University, highlighting support for intercollegiate athletics, its 27 varsity sports, annual net tuition revenue, and providing recommendations for staffing, facilities and the student-athlete experience.
Over the course of the four-month project, Collegiate Consulting met with more than 35+ Fisher stakeholders; collected and analyzed the University regarding athletic competitiveness, net tuition revenue, roster management, external revenue, and staffing.
University of Illinois Springfield Launches Flag Football Following Collegiate Consulting Study
The University of Illinois Springfield (UIS) has announced the addition of women’s flag football as the institution’s 18th varsity sport after the completion of a comprehensive Sports Sponsorship Study conducted by Collegiate Consulting. The Prairie Stars will begin recruiting student-athletes in fall 2026 ahead of the inaugural spring 2027 season.
As part of the engagement, Collegiate Consulting conducted a multi-sport feasibility analysis that evaluated the opportunity for nine potential new varsity programs, including flag football, men’s volleyball, and women’s lacrosse.
