After Collegiate Consulting’s completion of a Division I Feasibility Study for Queens University of Charlotte to assess a divisional reclassification from NCAA Division II to Division I, Queens’ trustees unanimously approved a plan to explore a move to NCAA Division I.
Collegiate Consulting began working with Queens in June 2021, with an initial draft completed in September 2021. Phase II of the study was completed in December 2021 and submitted to Queens. Collegiate Consulting’s full report analyzed metrics for the ASUN, Big South and Southern Conference including expenses, revenue, travel, competitiveness and suitability for Queens University of Charlotte’s illustrious athletic brand.
Spring sports in 2022 have started already – in the cold nights and mornings of these last weeks – and will continue into the warmth of early summer’s victories or defeats. While the focus of next month may belong to basketball, Collegiate Consulting would like to applaud the February athletes who battle the outdoor elements, and put in the time and practice, despite the conditions.
February starts off baseball, golf, lacrosse, softball and DII rowing. While a blaring alarm clock on a dark dawn is an unwelcome intrusion to most of us, it is a beacon of competitiveness for committed teammates. A snow day is not a “day off” for these student-athletes and their persistence is a testament to their drive.
As we continue to engage more and more collegiate athletic departments, Collegiate Consulting is excited to acknowledge the accomplishments by the student-athletes of our past and present clients.
We thrive on connection with our college athletic community and we seek to champion the achievements of both our partners and non-clients alike.
Please follow us so that we can celebrate and elevate each other together.
