While the men’s and women’s Division I tournaments are center stage right now, it’s important to keep in mind that MOST spring sports championships don’t take place until May, with the latest in June. In essence, most teams are still going to be dancing long after the nets are cut – some even after players’ graduation ceremonies have already occurred.
Annually, there are 28 Division III national championships that provide an opportunity for more than 18,000 student-athletes to compete at the highest level. This equals a championships opportunity for every one-in-10 Division III student-athletes.*
Again, throughout the year, Division II features unmatched opportunity for student-athletes to advance to national championship competition as a result of the division’s generous championship access ratio, which is the best among the three NCAA divisions.*
Collegiate Consulting will continue to cheer on and support all spring student athletes, coaches and support staff. For some, there is a lot of time left on the clock, and, like the tournaments – anything is possible.
