CC to Conduct Facility & Advancement Study for UT Permian Basin

ODESSA, Texas (July 1, 2017) – Collegiate Consulting was brought on-
board by the University of Texas at the Permian Basin (UTPB) to conduct an
facility study and assessment as well as an advancement feasibility study for
its intercollegiate athletic program.

The facility assessment will examine all current UTPB athletic facilities as
well as proposed facilities, including a new Kinesiology & Athletic Center.
The outcome of the facility assessment will be a list of short- and long-term
recommendations for athletics and cost estimates and timeline for each
recommendation.

The comprehensive advancement feasibility study, is a 360-degree review of
current fundraising efforts by athletics as well as institutional efforts on
behalf of the athletic program. In addition, the Collegiate Consulting team
will interview institutional, athletic and community stakeholders to determine
the potential for an athletics capital campaign to support the
recommendations from facility study.

“Our goal is to put UTPB in a position to be not just the best program in the
Lone Star Conference, but to be a successful national Division II program,”
stated Collegiate Consulting Managing Director Russell Wright. “The
University has a tremendous foundation that we’re aiming to building upon.”
