ATLANTA, Ga. – Collegiate Consulting is pleased to announce the hiring of new staff members. At the firm’s corporate office in Atlanta, Heather Ould was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, Jason Lai formally moves into the Vice President of Ticket Sales & Service position while Megan Graves has been hired as Client Services Coordinator. Jon Klein, Joseph LaVare and Lisa Ravotti also join the Collegiate Consulting family as General Managers for ticketing sales and services at Oral Roberts University, Sienna College and California State University, Bakersfield.
“We have had tremendous growth in both our consulting and ticket business in the past 12 months,” stated Russell Wright, managing director of Collegiate Consulting. “We are excited about the new additions to the Collegiate Consulting family as we have grown to a firm with nearly 30 employees.”
Recently, Jason Lai was the Executive Director of Team Business Development for the National Lacrosse League and brings years of sports marketing experience from various positions with PA SportsTicker (STATS Inc.), National Basketball Association (NBA), National Hockey League (NHL), New York Rangers and the New York Nicks. Megan Graves is a recent graduate from the University of Georgia with a major in Journalism and joins Collegiate Consulting after completing the firm’s corporate internship program. As Client Services Coordinator, Ms. Graves will be responsible for account management and creative support for all ticketing partners.
Jon Klein, who had spent the previous three years at the University of South Alabama as Senior Ticket Account Representative, will lead ticketing services at Oral Roberts University. Mr. Klein is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Kearney’s sports administration program. Joseph LaVare will manage athletic ticket sales for the Siena College athletic department. Mr. LaVare is a graduate of the University at Buffalo, where he also helped to develop and execute the most successful Season Ticket Campaign in Bulls history following their 2008 MAC Football Championship. Lisa Ravotti will lead the Collegiate Consulting team at Cal-State Bakersfield (CSUB). Most recently, Ms. Ravotti was a Sales & Marketing Consultant with the Ultimate Indoor Football League (UIFL) as well as Vice President of Ticket Sales with the Omaha Beef (IFL).
