CARROLLTON, Ga. – The University of West Georgia has enlisted Collegiate Consulting to conduct an operational review and assessment of its athletics program.
Collegiate Consulting will assess intercollegiate athletics alignment with the University’s overall mission, as well as develop recommendations and strategies based upon Division II and Division I benchmarking data. The operational review will last several months and will include stakeholder interviews, financial analyses, and a facilities assessment, among several other comparative studies. Collegiate Consulting will provide a report of their findings to university administration in the fall.

The Wolves currently sponsor 12 intercollegiate teams, five for men and seven for women. The teams compete in the Gulf South Conference of Division II.
Collegiate Consulting has worked with more than 300 institutions since its inception in 2005 and has similar studies for several Georgia institutions including Georgia State University, Dalton State College, Georgia Highlands College and The College of Coastal Georgia. Within the Gulf South Conference, Collegiate Consulting has completed studies for the University of North Alabama, University of West Florida, Union University, Shorter University and Lee University.
