Collegiate Consulting’s Wright Reflects on Year of Growth, Athletics Landscape


ATLANTA  – With universities across the country closing up for the semester, Collegiate Consulting concludes a year of amazing growth.
Within the athletics climate of 2013, programs have witnessed an arms race for increased revenue, more efficient departmental processes and innovative approaches to increase competitiveness. Having worked with the University of Southern Mississippi, Missouri State University and Florida A&M University, among many others, Collegiate Consulting expanded upon its significant expertise in strategic planning, feasibility studies and benchmarking services in 2013.

As attendance for intercollegiate athletics events declines due to increased media coverage and a rise in ticket prices, many athletics programs are turning to outsourcing ticket sales and service. By reaching out to untapped markets, teams are able to generate pipelines and cultivate the fan experience. Collegiate Consulting added eight ticket sales partners over the past year, more than doubling its previous roster size from the 2012 year.
