ATLANTA (July 5, 2025) – The NCAA DI Strategic Vision & Planning and FBS Oversight Committee(s) recently announced member-institutions and their advancement through the NCAA Division I or FBS reclassification process. Thirteen member-institutions advanced either to full-membership or the next year of their reclassification. Of the thirteen institutions, eight are Collegiate Consulting partners.

Kennesaw State University advanced to full FBS membership status effective August 1, 2025, following the institution’s successful completion of its second-year reclassification report. Additionally, the committee approved Missouri State University, advancing to the second year of the FBS transition process. Collegiate Consulting provided FBS Feasibility Studies for both institutions and assisted with their FBS reclassification requirements.

Stonehill College and Queen’s University of Charlotte were approved for active Division I status, beginning August 1, 2025. Collegiate Consulting assisted both institutions, providing a comprehensive DI Feasibility Study and assisting with securing their respective conference invitations.

The University of New Haven was accepted to start the Division I reclassification process; and LeMoyne College (year three); Mercyhurst University (year two); and the University of West Georgia (year two) have advanced in their reclassification process toward active DI membership.
