SPARTANBURG, SC (May 24, 2017) – The University of South Carolina- Upstate utilized Collegiate Consulting for its athletic director search, completed on May 20th, 2018. The search culminated in the hiring Daniel Feig. This is Collegiate Consulting’s third Athletic Director search in and seventh overall in the past 12 months.
Collegiate Consulting worked closely with USC Upstate Chancellor Dr. Brendan Kelly, and Interim Athletic Director Jeff Crane to create a diverse pool of applicants and provided support throughout the selection process. Additionally, the firm helped with development and distribution of the job description as well as candidate review.

Feig has served as the Executive Association Athletic Director at the University of Southern Mississippi since 2015. Prior to that, he held compliance positions at the University of Alabama and Arkansas State University. He earned a law degree from the University of Alabama and practiced law for six years.
