WEST ALABAMA & COLLEGIATE CONSULTING

FINALIZE STRATEGIC PLAN

LIVINGSTON, Alabama (March 4, 2024) –Collegiate Consulting was retained by the University of West Alabama to assist in the development of an intercollegiate athletics strategic plan. After submission of the initial draft and several edits, the new athletic plan has been approved and launched by UWA.

Over the course of this project, Collegiate Consulting interviewed more than 50 stakeholders for the project, as well as comprehensive benchmarking assessment of UWA to the Gulf South Conference. The stakeholders who provided their feedback included student-athletes, coaches, administrators, alumni, donors, community members and institutional leadership.

The development of the strategic plan was an initiative of Director of Athletics Kent Partridge, who is about to complete his third-year as UWA’s AD.  West Alabama’s athletics mission is to “encourage and support student-athletes in the pursuit of excellence on the field, in the classroom and throughout life.” The core values of the strategic plan are focused on being a TIGER.
