Missouri Western State University has partnered with Collegiate Consulting to collaborate in its Football Head Coach search. Collegiate Consulting began the search with posting the job description on different platforms and talking to candidates with potential interest. The search is anticipated to conclude prior to the end of the calendar year.
MWSU is a public institution located in St. Joseph, Mo., boasting an undergraduate enrollment of 4,300 students. The pre-season home to the Kansas City Chiefs, MWSU has 493 athletes across 17 Division II sports. The institution have been a member of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association since 1989.

Schools, mainly on the semester schedule, has students coming back for finals before the upcoming Winter Break. However, winter and spring student-athletes were still actively traveling to competitions – sometimes having to finish projects and papers while on buses without Wi-Fi only to turn in assignments to less-than-accommodating professors.
Collegiate Consulting works to bridge the gap between the academic and athletic sections of campus and, in our projects, we interview all aspects of an institution to provide solutions to eliminate or ease cross-campus disconnect between the two essential groups.
